Rifton Adaptive Tricycles

Rifton adaptive tricycles provide therapeutic, reciprocal exercise with all the fun of riding. This therapeutic trike grows with your child; you adjust it all with the twist of a knob! That’s right, no tools. Rifton adaptive tricycles meet or exceed all ANSI safety standards for special needs tricycles.

Rifton adaptive tricycles may not be appropriate for children with strong involuntary movements or minimal head control. Consult your child’s therapist before ordering.

Rifton Adaptive Tricycles Features

+Easy Access
Open access combined with a low transfer step makes it easy to get on and off Rifton adaptive trikes.

+Storage Box
There’s a tote box at the back of your trike for storage or for transporting items.

+Parking Break
The easily engaged parking brake grips both back wheels, and keeps the Rifton adaptive trike firmly in place.

+Hook & Loop straps
With the hook and loop straps on the self-leveling pedals, feet are secure. Your child can ride unaided, and have healthy exercise and fun.

+Puncture proof wheels
Puncture proof BMX-type wheels. A low gear ratio makes pedaling easier for beginners, and slows down speeders.

+Seat Choices
A seat choice of large or small may be made with the Small (R120) and Medium (R130) trike models. The Large (R140) trike comes with the larger seat.

+Choice of handlebar
Choose a traditional handlebar with conventional handgrips or a padded loop handlebar for extra support.
