Rifton Prone Standers

Rifton Prone standers allow for physical development and greater social interaction – enabling clients to experience the world more fully while building strength for the future. Our Prone standers provide anterior support and stability while encouraging weight-bearing and use of both hands and arms. Fully adjustable, Rifton Prone standers can “grow” with clients as their skills develop, allowing for increased weight-bearing over time.

The users themselves aren’t the only ones who love our Prone standers; they’re exceptionally easy for therapists and parents to operate and adjust. And, adding optional accessories to our basic Prone stander enables you to customize it to the needs of your client.

Height Adjustment
Adjust the height of the main board to customize the Rifton Prone Stander for each child. Separate height adjustment of the main board and footboard enables customized positioning.

The Prone Stander kneeboard can be removed for small children.

Angle indicator
The angle indicator
is calibrated from 0° to 85° so you can accurately measure a child’s progress.

When the Stander is vertical, the footboard is almost at floor level, making transfers easy.

Crank Handle
The user-friendly handcrank adjusts the board from vertical to horizontal. When vertical, the footboard is almost at floor level. This feature allows ease in transfer, and permits the user to be at peer level when upright.

Double-locking casters prevent roll and swivel during transfers to and from the Rifton Prone Stander.

S-curve Frame
The curved frame takes up less floor space and allows the caregiver to be close to the child. The large size Prone Stander is Hoyer lift accessible.
