Glencar  respects your privacy. Personal details that you provide to us or supply during the process of registering for a newsletter, answering a survey, or filling in a form will be held by Glencar  in confidence and in compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements relating to the obtaining, retention, processing and use (including use for marketing purposes) of personal data.  We comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 and S.I. No. 336/2011 and aim to maintain consistently high levels of best practice in our processing of personal data.

No personal information will be divulged to anyone or any organisation except Glencar  with the following exceptions:  We will disclose information to third parties who process information on our behalf in order to fulfil a service you have requested. For instance, if you order a product from us your information may be verified by a financial institution, and your email or postal address will be used to send you the product.

We may use your personal details for the following purposes: to register you for our Newsletter at your own request; to set up an account; to contact our customers if we need to communicate with them regarding their accounts or to verify bank/credit card details; to contact our customers in order to perform market research and to improve the goods and services which we offer.  Unless you indicate otherwise, we would like to contact you with details of offers and information about products and services which we believe would be of interest to you.

Cookies may be used for your convenience to keep you logged into the site throughout your visit, or to remember purchased items to aid in filling forms. Some of the information detailed above is used to make our site more user friendly via creating summary statistics on the number of visitors to our site and what pages are accessed more frequently.
